1. Data protection at a glance
General information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified.
Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You will find their
contact details in the section "Information on the controller" in this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
Some data is collected because you provide it to us – for example, data you enter into a
contact form. Other data is collected automatically, or with your consent, by our IT systems
when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (such as your browser, operating
system or the time of the page request).
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. Other data may
be used to handle your enquiries.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your
stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the
correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time about this and any other
questions on data protection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent
supervisory authority.
2. Hosting
We host the content of our website with the following provider:
Tube-Hosting (sole proprietorship), owner Ferdinand Zink
Schlesierstr. 7
97631 Bad Königshofen
Germany
The server location is in Germany. For further information on how user data is handled, please see the provider's privacy policy: https://tube-hosting.com/privacypolicy.html.
Collection and processing take place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting our website as reliably as possible. A data processing agreement has been concluded with the provider.
3. General information and mandatory disclosures
Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
Information on the controller
The controller for data processing on this website is:
Sveov e.K.
Patrik Piszkor
Sonnenfeld 39

Germany
Phone: +49 156 30150403

Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you make a legitimate request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing it (for example, retention periods under tax or commercial law).
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
Withdrawing your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged breach.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format.
Information, correction and deletion
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing, and where applicable a right to have this data corrected or deleted.
4. Data collection on this website
Server log files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you enter there, will be stored by us in order to process the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is connected with the performance of a contract or is necessary in order to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) where this was requested.
To receive and store the form data we use our own service "Sveov Forms" (forms.sveov.com), which is operated on a server in Germany. Your details are received and stored there in encrypted form (HTTPS). To notify us of new enquiries we send an email to our own mailbox. Your data is not passed on to third parties for any other purpose.
Protection against spam
To protect against automated enquiries (spam) we use no third-party services such as Google reCAPTCHA. Instead, we use exclusively server-side, data-minimising methods:
- check fields that are invisible to humans (known as honeypots),
- a measurement of the time between the page being opened and the form being submitted – a form sent in less than three seconds indicates a program rather than a person,
- a limit on the number of enquiries per period and connection (rate limiting),
- a restriction to enquiries originating from this website,
- an automated assessment of the message content (for example for links it contains or typical spam terms), which merely marks an enquiry internally as possibly unwanted.
This assessment does not cause your enquiry to be discarded – it is stored in every case and reviewed by us personally. No decision based solely on automated processing within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place. No personal data is transmitted to third parties in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our website against abusive automated enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Contact via WhatsApp
On our website we offer the option of contacting us via a link or button using WhatsApp. This is a plain link – the button itself does not transmit any data to WhatsApp. Only once you actively start the chat do the privacy provisions of WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) apply: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea. Data transmitted in the chat is processed in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR).
Enquiries by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry including all personal data arising from it (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
5. Cookies, browser storage and analytics
We have deliberately designed our website to minimise data. It sets no cookies – neither for analytics, tracking or marketing purposes, nor any technically unnecessary cookies.
There is one single exception, concerning your browser's local storage: if you use the switch in the header to change between the light and dark theme, we remember your choice under the entry sveov-theme, so that the site looks the way you set it on your next visit. Only the word "light" or "dark" is stored. The entry contains no personal data whatsoever, is transmitted neither to us nor to third parties, and is only created if you actively use the switch. It is therefore strictly necessary in order to provide the service you have expressly requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and does not require consent. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
We do not embed any analytics, tracking or advertising services (such as Google Analytics), no external fonts (such as Google Fonts) and no other third-party content that could transmit data to third parties when the page is loaded. The fonts used are rendered from the system fonts already present on your device.
As no cookies or services requiring consent are used, a cookie banner is not necessary. When the page is opened, only the technically necessary access data in the server log files is processed (see the section "Server log files").
